5-6’s Egypt Visit at the Met

On October 2 and 3, the 5th and 6th Graders had the opportunity to tour the Egypt exhibit at NYC’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.  They learned all about Egyptian tombs, mummies, and observed ancient Egyptian artifacts first hand to coincide with a future Social Studies unit.

7-8s Visit Teterboro Aviation Museum

  The “Dare to Fly” program at Teterboro airport introduced students to basic aerodynamic theory and gave them a tour of the museum.  The students, with the help of experienced pilots and educators, designed and built their gliders from raw materials and held a flight competition.

Mr. Gallo’s 2019-2020 Back-to-School Updates and Reminders

Hello TCCS Parents and Guardians…

I hope that everyone has had a wonderful summer break!  Our maintenance staff and construction crews have been hard at work getting the building ready for the coming school year and our entire staff will begin our annual training and preparation week next Monday.  With September and the first day of school right around the corner, I wanted to share some important reminders and some new information pertaining to the upcoming 2019-2020 school year.
