A Peaceful Season

TCCS’s 2018 Winter Concert, A Peaceful Season, was a huge success! The theme this year was peace; a thought that many of us reflect on during the winter season.

Students learned new music, new techniques, and new languages during the rehearsal process. We were able to sing in two and three-part harmony. Some classes used instruments like bells, boomwhackers, and drums. Other classes learned new languages ranging from Swahili and Polish to Vietnamese and American Sign Language. Some students read poetry in between performances. Two of our 5/6 classes collaborated on pieces of music with the Kindergarten classes, and had a blast. We even had a great faculty and staff performance, ugly holiday sweaters included!
